Hello! I'm Kirsten Nelson, the writer behind Willow Journal. My partner, daughter, dog and I live in Somerville, Massachusetts. 

Willow Journal was created as a place to share our family's adventures and celebrate the simple things that make life beautiful.

Where do you live?
We live just outside of Boston in a beautiful, modern home we adore! TJ grew up in New Hampshire and I am from central Massachusetts. We have been living in the Boston-area for the better part of 10 years. We love living here and we're excited for Dylan to grow up so close to both her grandparents. 

Where do you and your partner do for a living?
I am a stay-at-home mom and freelance as a user experience designer. TJ runs a company called PillPack, which is a company that makes it easy for people to manage medications.

What is your camera setup?
Prior to late-December 2016, I used a Fujifilm x100. I am currently using a Leica Q and iPhone 7+ for all of my images on Willow Journal. To edit my photos, I use Lightroom and Photoshop.
